Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Far from the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. We got a variety. Broccoli chicken was 6/10, hot & sour 6/10, veg egg rolls 3/10, lo mein 7/10, wontons 7/10. Wouldn't really order again - luckily i was only in town visiting relatives & they seem to love this place.

Food is typical Chinese carry out. But it's good quality. I've eaten at Beijing many times over the years and its consistently good, always fresh and hot.

Veggie dumplings and veggie rice have lots of veggies! More than is typical of Chinese take-out. General Tso shrimp was the best my husband has eaten. Kids loved the wonton soup. My 4 year old son just said, "That dinner filled me with... joy!"

Amazing food. The crab cream cheese wontons are the best I've ever had. The beef with broccoli is amazing too. The delivery isn't fast but always courteous. And the good food makes up for the wait.

So I've given this place multiple chances now and I have to say, I'm not impressed at all. I've noticed that when you order any kind of meal that comes with veggies (such as pepper steak) they only give you like 15% meat, and the rest veggies. I'm sorry but I want chinese for the meat, not all the veggies. They really rip you off this way. It's disappointing when you get your meal and you literally have to go digging through everything just to find a few pieces of meat. The food you get is alright tasting, but you can't help but feel ripped off. Take my advice, find a place that doesn't try ripping off its customers.

The best Chinese I've (and all my family and in-laws) has ever had. We live in Mesa, AZ now and we have never found any place as good as this! Whenever I visit, it is on my MUST visit/eat places in Severna Park! I love the General Tso and Orange chicken. The portions are huge and I'll eat it all myself, it's THAT good!

Like a good friend, Beijing is always there when needed. Consistently good Chinese - take and delivery only. The lady who takes the orders is always friendly with at least 3 or 4 thank yous. The food is traditional Americanized Chinese food. The portions are generous with each meal easily split between two with leftovers. We have yet to be disappointed. I do have a question though....If the Chinese are so smart, how come they have not invented to-go containers with a plastic hoop instead of metal for easy microwaving? In any event, on those occasions were you just don't want to cook and looking to get your egg roll on, you won't be disappointed with Beijing.

Their online menu prices are not accurate. Every time i order from them I do the math beforehand because I've been screwed over by them several times. I'm able to haggle them down to the price they advertise most of the time but its not easy. I get a different excuse from them every time. This time she just said, "online prices aren't right and we don't know how to change them." These prices have been the same for the six years I've lived in the area. Their food is good though which is why i still order from them.

I was stuck ordering late, with very few options in the SP area. I was fortunate enough to arrive early enough to watch the preparation of my food, after calling in an order. I watched as the cook prepared someone's wok dish with used grease from a huge dirty grease can under the sink! The service was friendly, but the food was inedible. I'm sorry, but I cannot endorse this place. I was sick most of the night after throwing most of the meal out.

Beijing used to be our go to Chinese place but it has recently gone extremely downhill. The last time our food was pretty much inedible. After talking with friends we realized we are not the only ones who have had this type of experience.

We Just tried this place after our favorite Chinese take-out in Arnold went down hill. It will be a good replacement, so we give it 3 stars versus our old place used to be 4 stars ( but now 2 stars). The Garlic chicken is sliced and plentiful in the dish and there are some good vegetables in there too, shrimp egg rolls are OK (could be fresher). Fresh ingredients are our favorites! We don't have many choices on the Broadneck Peninsula, so if we want 4 star Chinese we travel to Forest Drive in Annapolis. Then people from DC give that place in Annapolis 3 stars, so it is obviously location, location that matters to reviewers!

Great chinese take-out & friendly service!

Beijing is a simple, nondescript Chinese restaurant and carryout. At least, this place doesn't go overboard with Chinese motifs like fake flowers everywhere, putting Michael's to shame, and floating, upside down goldfishes in cloudy tanks. Beijing is simple with big windows...bringing in the bright sunlight. The cashier is a little old friendly lady. She tells you every other minute that your meal is coming out soon. She's so cute at doing this that it doesn't bother you with the repeated announcements. I had the General Tso's Chicken, extra spicy. And spicy they were! Finally, someone who listens to my special order. The meal came with Hot & Sour Soup. I know...what was I doing?!?! Slurping soup on this hot hot day?!?!?! However, it was so good! If you like chunky mushrooms, get the Hot & Sour Soup! But, dammit, where the hell was my eggroll? At least, give me those fried wontons.

Food is tasty, quality and quantity is good. Everything arrived on time and hot. But they use WAY too much oil. Main dishes (chicken & snow peas and moo shoo pork) left puddles of oil on the plate to the point where it was unappetizing. Would love to try again, but would need assurances of a less greasy meal.

Food is yummy, and they always overfill the cartons with it (this is a good thing). Preparation is fast and the lady at the counter is nice. It's my favorite Chinese carryout in the area.
(4)Larry C.
Beijing is a very good Chinese carryout. It's inexpensive, they fill the orders fast, and the food is quite good. They even have limited delivery available. Don't expect fine dining, but it's a great place for fried rice and egg rolls. It never disappoints.

Beijing claims that they don't use any MSG and I believe it, BUT, they replaced the MSG with (perhaps Aunt Jamima's/Ms. Buttworth) maple syrup. Everything taste like syrup! I guess if you like syrup, the food will be OK, but only order if you are in a dire need to have some greasy food delivered so that your hangover the day after isn't so bad.
